# Hannah Kennedy

> From a small village in Buckinghamshire, Hannah Kennedy is an award-winning playwright and screenwriter. 

They have won the 2024 BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Competition with their film The Fat Mermaid Club and were one of the twelve writers on Channel 4's esteemed 4Screenwriting course in 2024.

Selected for the Jed Mercurio & Amazon Mentorship Programme, Hannah is the mentee of writer and producer Steven Moffat OBE, best known for Sherlock and Doctor Who (BBC One).
